XOR Electronics NerdSEQ IO Expander
The XOR Electronics NerdSEQ IO Expander module is to be used in conjunction with the NerdSEQ sequencer. The module connects to the NerdSEQ sequencer with a ribbon cable and features a MIDI In port, a MIDI Out (DIN5) port and a Gamepad connector for a SEGA Gamepad.
The MIDI In / Out ports are used for clocking as a Master / Slave, to play and record from MIDI (using MIDI to CV Conversion) and soon to sequence MIDI notes as well.
The Gamepad connector allows you to control the NerdSEQ using a Sega Gamepad with control over functions such as navigation, editing and live playing. Future firmware versions will allow you to customise the role each button plays.
